What are Vegetarian Raw Foods?








They are fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds which are not cooked, rather prepared creatively and transformed to delicious alternatives to traditional favorites. We use blenders, food processors and other common kitchen equipment to prepare amazing fresh pesto, fresh fruit pies, smoothies, hummus, etc. All the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes are intact (when food is cooked, it loses it's optimal nutritional value and vitality), so you feel satisfied, not bloated, energetic and refreshed, instead of tired, stuffed and blah.



To host a Raw Foods Class, gather at least six of your friends, and choose from three delicious menus. We will spend the first part of this hands on class preparing our meal, and enjoying dinner (organic wine is allowed). Following dinner, there will be handouts, resources, information and discussion on all the health benefits, and how to implement some of the Vegetarian Raw Foods into your diet. Come hungry to eat and hungry to learn about this exciting lifestyle, and how it naturally complements your yoga practice.
